A few useful
things to know.
Start with S-Log3
Look 01 is built for Sony S-Log3 / S-Gamut3.Cine footage. That profile gives the LUT the input it expects.
Test other profiles first
For phone, Rec.709, V-Log, C-Log or D-Log footage, tell Claude the camera and profile and ask it to recreate the look. Check a short clip before batching.
Grade first, edit second
Approve the look on one clip, then apply it across the rest so your shots stay consistent.
Ask for a comparison
Add “Also make a side-by-side raw vs graded preview” when you want to compare the change.

Is the skill free?
Yes. The skill and Look 01 LUT are free.
Do I need a colour grading app?
No. Claude runs the grading workflow and returns finished video files. You can also ask it to export the Look 01 .cube LUT for Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, CapCut desktop or LumaFusion.
Will it change the audio or clip length?
No. The grade changes the picture; the original audio, duration, resolution and frame rate are kept.
Can I make the look softer or warmer?
Yes. Ask for less grain, no vignette, a warmer look, or another specific adjustment.
My footage is not Sony S-Log3. What should I do?
Tell Claude your camera and colour profile, then ask it to recreate Look 01 for that footage. Results vary by profile, so check a short test clip first.
What if my 4K files are too large to upload?
Trim the clips to the shots you need, or use Claude Code or the desktop app so Claude can read files directly from your computer.
